Industry‑Leading Safety Standards

 

We use a mixture of commercial‑grade bouncy castles and high‑quality retail baby play items, depending on the session or hire.

 

Commercial Inflatable Equipment

 

All of our bouncy castles are:

 

•  PIPA tested and tagged

•  Fully compliant with BS EN 14960:2019

•  Professionally inspected before and after every hire or session

•  Maintained to strict safety and hygiene standards

 

These inflatables are manufactured specifically for commercial use and meet all UK safety requirements.

Baby & Toddler Play Equipment

 

Some Baby Bears items (such as soft toys, foam blocks, tunnels and sensory toys) are retail‑grade products designed for domestic or early‑years use.  

We ensure these items are:

•  Cleaned and sanitised before every session

•  Checked for damage, wear or loose parts

•  Removed from service immediately if they do not meet our standards

Safe, Non‑Toxic Flooring

 

For Baby Bears Stay & Play, in our main baby and toddler areas, we use Soft Floor Kids EVA foam mats, trusted across the UK for early‑years environments.

 

These mats are:

 

•  Non‑toxic and free from harmful chemicals

•  EN‑certified for child‑safe use

•  Used in NHS settings, nurseries and children’s centres

•  Thicker and safer than low‑quality imported mats

•  Easy to clean, sanitise and maintain

•  Designed to provide a cushioned, impact‑reducing surface for babies and toddlers

 

All mats are cleaned before every session, sanitised regularly, and replaced immediately if they show signs of wear.

Professional Staff

 

Our team members follow structured safety procedures for every installation, every session and every collection. Staff are DBS checked. 

Cleaning & Hygiene Standards

 

Cleanliness is a core part of our safety culture - especially in environments designed for young children.

 

Every item is:

 

•  Cleaned before and after every hire

•  Sanitised regularly

•  Inspected for damage, wear or contamination

•  Removed from service immediately if it does not meet our standards

Electrical Safety

 

All electrical equipment used by The Franks Experience Ltd is:

 

•  Professionally PAT tested

•  Checked regularly throughout the year

•  Installed using safe cabling routes and protective equipment

•  Positioned to prevent trip hazards and unauthorised access

Equipment Safety & Testing

 

Every inflatable and hire item undergoes:

 

•  Routine inspections

•  Pre‑session safety checks

•  Post‑session checks for damage or wear

•  Immediate removal from service if faults are found

Risk Assessments & Documentation

 

We believe in transparency. If you need documentation, we can provide:

•  Risk assessments

•  Public liability insurance details

•  PIPA certificates
