This page contains the Terms & Conditions for both our public sessions and our private hire services.
Each section is clearly labelled so parents, carers and customers can easily understand which terms apply to their booking.
By booking or attending any session or hiring our equipment or services, you agree to the relevant Terms & Conditions outlined below.
Public Sessions – Terms & Conditions
Covers Baby Bears Stay & Play, Seasonal Events, Character Performers and all ticketed public sessions.
Effective Date: 1st March 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all public sessions organised by The Franks Experience Ltd.
By booking or attending a session, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
• All bookings must be made through our approved booking system.
• Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been received.
• Bookings may be transferable when agreed by The Franks Experience Ltd.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry if a valid booking cannot be shown.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
3. Walk‑In Policy
We welcome walk‑ins where space allows, but entry is not guaranteed.
• Walk‑ins are accepted at our discretion and only if the session has available capacity.
• Payment must be made in full on arrival using our card machine before entry is permitted.
• Messaging ahead does not reserve a space unless agreed by The Franks Experience Ltd
• Walk‑in customers are required to read and accept our Terms & Conditions before entering the session.
• By completing payment at the door, you confirm that you agree to all Public Sessions Terms & Conditions, including our Safety Rules.
4. Adult Supervision
• Children remain the responsibility of their parent or accompanying adult at all times.
• Parents/carers must remain within the venue for the duration of the session.
• Staff supervise equipment operation only — they do not provide childcare or individual supervision.
• Parents/carers must ensure children follow all safety instructions and use equipment appropriately.
5. Health & Wellbeing
Please do not attend if you or your child:
• Have experienced sickness or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours
• Have a contagious illness
• Have been advised not to attend public activities
• Have open sores which may be transmissible
Parents/carers must inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies or additional needs.
6. Safety Rules
All attendees must follow our published Safety Rules, including:
• No shoes on inflatables
• No food, drinks or chewing gum on play equipment
• No climbing on inflatable walls or netting
• No rough play, wrestling, flips or somersaults
• Children must use equipment appropriate for their age, size and ability
• No entering restricted areas, including behind inflatables or near electrical equipment
We may stop unsafe behaviour immediately.
Inflatables may only be used when staff have confirmed they are safe and ready for use.
7. Behaviour
We aim to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.
We may refuse entry or ask individuals to leave where behaviour:
• Places others at risk
• Is abusive, threatening or inappropriate
• Damages equipment or the venue
• Prevents others from enjoying the session
No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
8. Equipment
• All equipment is inspected before every session.
• Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose.
• Children must not climb on equipment not designed for climbing, tamper with inflatables, enter restricted areas or move equipment without permission.
9. Personal Property
Personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner.
We accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage.
10. Photography
• Parents/carers may photograph their own children.
• Please avoid photographing children not in your group.
• We may take promotional photos; permission will always be requested before identifiable images are used.
11. Character Performers
From time to time, we may invite professional entertainers to perform character‑based experiences.
All character appearances are performed by entertainers hired by The Franks Experience Ltd.
These performers are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any real public figure or brand.
Any resemblance or inspiration is purely for entertainment purposes.
12. Food & Drink Safety (Baby Bears Stay & Play)
At Baby Bears Stay & Play, we may (dependant on venue) serve tea, coffee and pre‑packaged biscuits and savoury items purchased from reputable retailers.
To ensure safety:
• We do not serve homemade food.
• All items are shop‑bought and remain in their original packaging until served.
• Parents/carers are responsible for checking ingredients and allergen information before consumption.
• The Franks Experience Ltd accepts no liability for allergic reactions or adverse responses where ingredients have been clearly provided by the manufacturer.
• Hot drinks must be kept away from play areas and equipment at all times.
• Refreshments provided are intended for adults only and are not suitable for children.
13. Changes to Sessions
We may occasionally need to:
• Change venues
• Change session times
• Substitute equipment
• Cancel sessions due to circumstances beyond our control
We will provide reasonable notice where possible and a refund provided if required.
14. Venue Information
We operate Baby Bears Stay & Play and other public sessions in multiple venues (for example, churches, halls, restaurants and community spaces).
The correct venue for each session is displayed clearly in our booking system and confirmed in your booking email.
Parents/carers must check the venue shown on their booking before attending.
The Franks Experience Ltd cannot accept responsibility for missed sessions caused by attending the wrong venue.
15. Liability
We take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and properly maintained equipment.
Nothing excludes or limits our liability where unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Parents/carers remain responsible for supervising their children at all times.
16. Sensory Activities
Some sessions may include sensory play using age-appropriate materials, lights, sounds, textures and other interactive resources.
• Participation in sensory activities is voluntary.
• Parents/carers are responsible for deciding whether sensory activities are suitable for their child and for supervising their child throughout.
• Parents/carers must inform us of any relevant allergies, medical conditions, sensory sensitivities or additional needs before participation.
• While we take reasonable care to provide a safe environment and suitable equipment, The Franks Experience Ltd cannot guarantee that every activity will be suitable for every child. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
17. Data Protection and Privacy
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
18. Acceptance
By completing a booking or attending a session, you confirm that you:
• Have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions
• Agree to follow our Safety Rules
• Understand that children remain under your supervision at all times
Private Hire – Terms & Conditions
Covers bouncy castles, soft play, ride‑on toys, giant games, party equipment and all hire items.
Effective Date: 1st March 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all private hires supplied by The Franks Experience Ltd.
By confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
• Bookings are confirmed once the agreed deposit or full payment has been received.
• Remaining balances must be paid before the hire as agreed.
• We reserve the right to cancel any booking where payment has not been received.
2. Changes to Bookings
Changes must be requested by email using the same email address used for the original booking.
Changes to date
• The Franks Experience Ltd accepts changes to dates up to 1 day prior to the hire when agreed.
Changes to products
• The Franks Experience Ltd accepts changes to products up to 1 day prior to the hire when agreed. Some products may not be available upon short notice.
3. Cancellations
Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
4. Ownership of Equipment
• All hired equipment remains the property of The Franks Experience Ltd at all times.
5. Delivery & Collection
• A responsible adult (18+) must be present for delivery and collection.
• Delivery and collection times are approximate; we will always aim to arrive within the agreed window.
• We cannot be held liable for any additional costs incurred if arrival times differ from those stated.
• The hirer must ensure all hired items are available for collection at the agreed time.
• Hired items must not be dismantled or packed away by anyone other than our staff.
• Any damage caused by third‑party attempts to move or pack away equipment may result in repair or cleaning charges.
6. Access & Space Requirements
The hirer is responsible for ensuring:
• Safe, suitable access to the setup location.
• Sufficient space for the equipment, including required safety clearance.
• A clean, flat, level surface free from hazards, obstacles, sharp objects, animal mess or debris.
• A suitable power supply within 25 metres of the setup location.
If the site is unsuitable, unsafe or inaccessible, we may refuse installation.
7. Installation
• The hirer (or a nominated adult) must be present during delivery to inspect the equipment and receive the safety briefing.
• Equipment will not be installed until full payment has been made.
• Responsibility for supervision and safe use passes to the hirer once installation is complete.
8. Supervision
A responsible adult (18+) must supervise the equipment at all times.
Children must not:
• Enter restricted areas
• Climb on inflatable walls or netting
• Run or play behind the inflatable
• Interfere with the blower, cables or anchorage system
We do not provide supervision unless agreed in writing.
9. Safety Briefing
Before leaving, we provide a verbal safety briefing covering:
• Adult supervision
• Maximum user numbers
• Safe operation
• Weather precautions
• What to do if the blower stops
• General safety rules
The hirer agrees to follow these instructions throughout the hire.
10. Blower & Equipment Failure
If the blower stops:
• All users must exit immediately.
• If the blower becomes disconnected accidently, it may only be reconnected if it is safe to do so. If there is any doubt as to the cause of the failure, the equipment must not be used until The Franks Experience Ltd has been contacted.
• If unsure, or if the inflatable does not re‑inflate correctly, it must not be used.
• The Franks Experience Ltd must be contacted immediately.
11. Equipment Care
The hirer is responsible for reasonable care of all equipment.
Equipment must not be:
• Moved
• Modified
• Tampered with
• Used improperly
Prohibited items include:
• Food, drinks, chewing gum
• Face paints
• Silly string
• Sharp objects
• Pets
Cleaning Charges
If equipment is returned soiled, stained or contaminated (including face paint, food spills, animal mess or similar), a cleaning fee will apply.
Cleaning fees are charged at £35 per hour, plus the cost of repair if required.
12. User Safety Rules (Applicable to All Equipment)
The hirer must ensure:
• A responsible adult supervises the equipment at all times.
• No adults use children’s inflatables unless the equipment is specifically rated for adult use.
• Mixed‑age groups do not use inflatables at the same time.
• Equipment is not overcrowded.
• No boisterous behaviour, pushing, wrestling or flips.
• All footwear, glasses, jewellery and sharp objects are removed before use.
• No smoking, pets or barbecues near the equipment.
• No person uses the equipment while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
13. Additional Rules for Inflatable Equipment
• No climbing, hanging or sitting on inflatable walls or beams.
• No bouncing on the front safety step.
• No one should be on the inflatable during inflation, deflation or while deflated.
• The blower area must be kept clear and out of bounds.
• The inflatable must not be used if the surface becomes wet or slippery.
• If rain occurs, the inflatable may be dried with a towel once safe.
• If the equipment fails, all users must exit immediately.
• The inflatable must be kept clean and undamaged.
• Damage or excessive soiling may result in repair or cleaning charges.
14. Liability
We take reasonable steps to ensure all equipment is clean, maintained and safely installed.
Nothing excludes or limits our liability where unlawful to do so.
Once installed, the hirer is responsible for:
• Supervision
• Safe use
• Preventing misuse
• Preventing access to restricted areas
We accept no liability for accidents, injuries or losses arising from improper use, lack of supervision or failure to follow safety instructions.
15. Medical Conditions
We accept no liability for pre‑existing medical conditions made worse through use of hired equipment.
Individuals who are unwell, pregnant, taking medication or have conditions affecting balance, heart, neck or back should not use inflatables or physical play equipment.
16. Personal Property
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during the hire.
17. Limitation of Liability
The Franks Experience Ltd will not be liable for any unforeseeable financial loss arising from late or non‑delivery of equipment, unsuitability of the hire location, equipment breakdown, temporary stoppage, or lawful repossession. This limitation does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
18. Acceptance
By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you:
• Have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions
• Will supervise the equipment at all times
• Will follow the safety briefing
• Accept responsibility for ensuring all users follow safety instructions
General
The following provisions apply to all Terms and Conditions on this page.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
